Delete your account & data

You can ask us to delete your Recall account and the data tied to it at any time. There's no charge, and you don't need a reason. This page explains exactly what happens, how long it takes, and the two ways to request it.
How to request deletion
Use either route — both reach a person directly:
- The form below — fill it in with the email address on your Recall account and submit. This is the quickest way.
- By email — write to joe@growthmediumai.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Account deletion request".
So we can verify it's really you, please send the request from — or name — the email address associated with your Recall account.
What gets deleted
When your request is processed, we permanently remove all the personal data we hold about you, including:
- Your account and login details (name, email address).
- Your dog's profile(s) — name, breed, age, temperament and any details you added.
- Your conversation history with Recall and the structured memory built from it.
- Your household and training-progress notes.
- Any messages or support correspondence linked to your account.
What we may keep
We may retain a minimal record where the law requires it — for example, billing or transaction records needed for tax and accounting. We may also keep anonymised, aggregated data that can no longer be linked back to you. Nothing in this category can identify you personally.
How long it takes
We action deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. Your account is first deactivated (soft-deleted) so it's no longer accessible, and your data is then permanently erased from our active systems within that window. Residual copies in routine encrypted backups age out shortly after on our standard backup cycle.
What deletion means
Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. Once your data is erased, we can't restore your account, your dog's profile or your conversation history — you'd need to start fresh with a new account. If you only want to take a break, you can simply stop using the app instead.
